Internships

The Massachusetts Film Office (MFO) is the state agency that markets the Commonwealth as a location for feature films and television projects. Recent films the MFO worked on include The Holdovers, American Fiction and Madam Web

We offer three internship opportunities – spring, summer and fall. We hire 1 intern each semester that assists the MFO in film related projects. 

Duties may include:

      • Location breakdown of feature film and television scripts
      • Assist MFO staff with special projects
      • Updating media and film industry database
      • Fulfilling location photography requests for potential productions
           

Internships MUST be confirmed with proper paperwork from an accredited college/university. Students should be entering either their junior or senior year of college or be a graduate student majoring in film or television production. Interns must work at least 15 hours per week. Typically our internships are for an entire semester. Interviews for this position will be done via Zoom. You will not be contacted unless we would like to do a Zoom interview with you. You must be physically in Massachusetts for the internship as we send you out to scout locations. HAVE BEEN SELECTED

This is a paid internship.
